Products - Alarm system and its components
Your security system will include a number of detection devices such as reed switches, glassbreak detectors, smoke detectors, motion sensors, keypad/s, siren, and a control panel. These devices identify alarm conditions and report them to the control panel which will sound an alarm if triggered. The control panel is fully programmable and allows communication between you and your alarm system.
Keypads
We use the following keypads in all of our alarm systems. There are 3 options available to be used with your system - a modern Paradox user keypad or a Sierra user keypad which feature an alphanumeric display or standard numerical LED display. We also stock a smaller keypad for homes that don't require a large number of zones.

The Sierra keypad is a full featured, expandable control panel designed for easy use. It contains feature to reduce false alarms and increase customer satisfaction.
It is an easily expandable system ranging from 8 to 32 zones which supports up to 60 user codes assignable to specific, or all areas of the system.
It contains 2 programming modes for installation and set up - menu driven or quick mode.
There are 4 arming modes available including single button arming and compatibility with Activor keyfobs or remotes.
Its memory also allows up to 500 events to be stored including time and date stamps.

Escort Keypad 236i
The 236i/3 is a medium priced control panel which has been available for a number of years. The newest version of the 236i/3 now allows 2 phone number dialling, strobe alert when arming and disarming, and selective zone bypassing for home arming. Mostly used with 4 to 5 detectors and reed switches where appropriate.
This system allows 6 zone selectors, automatically does a battery load test every 24 hours, contains fully programmable zones, entry and exit time control, 4 digit code, and up to 6 user codes. This system can also be used with up to 4 LED keypads. Special features of this panel include its external dialling capability to notify you when your alarm has been triggerered, or can simply be used as a local panel.
It also features optional remote arming and disarming.
